Dirty Little Secrets from Otherwise Perfect Moms

Did anyone watch Rachael Ray today??? I loved the segment on the book Dirty Little Secrets from Otherwise Perfect Moms.

My first thought was... hey that would have been a great blog title... lol

So it got me thinking (I don't do that often... hahaha). What is my dirty little secret as a mom?? hmmmm....

I thought of two (that I was willing to share)

**I love having time alone, but feel guilty for taking it. So whenever we need something at the store I jump at the chance to go get it. Who knew a trip to the grocery store would be a treat? Who knew I'd get excited to drive my car ALONE??

**There have been many days where I leave Blake in his room after his nap because I want to finish watching a tv show that I have taped. Why is it that as Mom's we feel guilty for watching our own tv shows?

soooooo I put this out to you my loyal readers.... what is your "dirty little secret" as a mom??

  9. Hi! Glad the segment has resonated. I have another to add: My five-year old son has been having bad dreams so I use Febreeze and tell him it's a 'bad dream go away spray' and spritz it over and under his bed. Seems to be working!

  10. I had a doctor appointment but had to wait 2 hours to be seen the other day. But I was just enjoying my alone time, even if it was at the doctor's office--LOL!

  11. I admit I encourage my kid to take his long nap in the morning because it's more convenient for me as generally I, too, can take a morning nap if he's asleep! I don't want to be a slave to the midday nap!

  12. I definatley pull the store card too. My hubby thinks he's helping by picking stuff up for me but I find myself getting ticked at him. Oops! I've also given in to movies in the car lately (only supposed to be for loooooooong trips) just to get a break from Madison's nonstop talking.
