Anyway back to the reason for this post. Richard did not work on Sunday and he decided it was pamper mommy day. I got to sleep in late. I stayed in bed until 7:30am (a major treat for me). Then we had a lazy morning. Richard then went for a bike ride. When he got home we had lunch and then I went out by myself for a few hours. I went to the local mall and did a bit of shopping and then got my hair cut.
When I got home, Richard had given the boys baths and was ready to start dinner. We had dinner and then decided to take the boys for a walk around the block. I put on my roller blades and Richard pushed the carriage and walked the dog while I roller bladed.
After the boys went to sleep Richard and I enjoyed the Apple Pie Apple that I picked up at the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory. If you have never tried these apples, oh man you don't know what you are missing!! (wow they are a lot more expensive on-line... go to the store don't order them!)

That sounds like a delightful day. Good for you and hubby. That sounds like my hubbies week at work. He is always gone like that. *sigh* He left this morning at 7 & I will see him tonight around 9:30 or 10.
ReplyDeletesounds like an awesome day. Pete had to work Sat too. He averages 70 hours a week when he is not busy. During busy season he has gotten home at 3 in the morning and had to get up at six to go back. I feel your pain.
ReplyDeleteYeah for sleeping in. I got to sleep til 815. Not too terrible. Isn't great when Hubby's do that for us?
