Hope you get out and support this waste of paper the political process. Richard and I went the first week of early voting. I love this concept... shorter lines and almost no waiting... so worth it!
Wow...you're not kidding about the waste of paper! That is ridiculous. Here, we find out about the election about a month before. And there are hardly any flyers or commercials...thank goodness.
I'm glad your elections will be over, I'm getting sick of all the election commercials when I watch U.S. TV ;)
My husband recently took a job with our local Department of Transporations. I was shocked when he came home on Wed. and said he had to remove all of those political signs that had been placed EVERYWHERE. Apparently the candidates/their supporters don't do this for themeselves. Plus, my husband couldn't even throw them away. They have to pile them up and give the candidates a chance to pick them up if they want. Which of course they never do! Ridiculous! (The money spent on the mailings could save a whole starving country)
chuckle, chuckle!! ;) waste of paper indeed!! sheesh!
ReplyDeletewe get to vote by mail here in Wa... LOVE it!! I will never want to live anywhere where I have to go out to vote again!! NO lines! or parking... ;)
