well last night was a longggg night for me, but that isn't what I'm whining about today.
Blake went down for his nap at 10:30 (new nap time??) anyway.... I jumped in the shower and around 11:00 Colby wanted to nurse... ok fine.
around 11:10 the lawn people came to mow the lawn next door. now if Blake had been sleeping longer it wouldn't have mattered. Then the phone rings at 11:30
sooooo yeah no nap for Blake. I haven't let him out of his room just yet, but I need to soon (or else who knows what he may get into)
so I didn't get any downtime again today
You poor thing! I hate days like that!
ReplyDeletei hate days like that too! at least its friday and dh will be home!
ReplyDeleteLori I don't know how you do it! I always think of you when I think of having another. You seem so strong. I hope you get some down time soon.
ReplyDeleteWhat time does Blake usually wake up in the morning?? I know it takes a while to get a good routine having two....give it a few more months and as Colby gets older it will all fall into place. I was so scared I would never sleep again having a 16 month old AND newborn, but here we are at 21 months and 5 months old and we are doing GREAT!!! (let me find some wood to knock on)!!!! You all will get there!!!
ReplyDeletei hope you have some time to yourelf soon!! I know it mut be hard.. But i'm sure very rewarding!
ReplyDeleteUgh. I hate the no good nap days! HATE THEM. I hope tomorrow is better!
ReplyDeleteNo nap days are the worst! I dread the day Madison outgrows naptime. You totally deserve some whine time!
ReplyDeleteUgh. Nap times are so essential. I'm with momma on the go . . . I dread the day that J outgrows them. DREAD.
