Blake is a super inquisitive little boy. My concern is people are going to hear our stories about him and think he a "trouble maker" Even as an infant you could see Blake observing and studying how things work. He wanted to walk before he crawled... I watched him watch people walk and study how it was done. He has watched and learned how to open all the doors, even some that are "baby proofed". He climbs up to get to the umbrella on the patio table because he's watched me open it. I know some of the climbing is just nature, but some is from him watching me stand on chairs or the bottom shelf of the cabinet to reach things (hey I'm vertically challenged I can't help it!). He knows how to switch the laundry, push the lawn mower, open the fridge, and many other things.
He loves to explore and is doing it to understand the world around him. Even if it means taking a container of sour cream off the counter to check it out and then smear it everywhere. He isn't doing it thinking hmm what can I do now to get attention. He's thinking hmmm what is this and how do you use it?
