Wooohooo! It rained (again!). Now I can go swimming in the backyard... so what if the grass is mushy!
Here in Orlando we get rain almost every afternoon in the summer. This freestanding water was from just one storm... but at least the rain cools it down (sometimes)
Now that is sweet!!!
ReplyDeleteMy ex (way back when) lived in Orlando (Altamonte Springs) for a year and I would drive down from SC like every other weekend (yup - that's alot of miles AND when gas was cheap) and I can remember it raining EVERY afternoon!
That does look like fun!
ReplyDeleteWe had a "pond" at our house in Oregon, but only in winter months when it was too cold to enjoy it - we have very dry summers there.
Fun! The worst part of it is the mosquitos though! We get a lot of afternoon thunderstorms here, too.
