Here we go again... another Monday, the last Monday in October if you can believe it. Time to look back and reflect on all those fun things you did... or didn't do this past week. It's time to realize that you are not alone in this crazy world. It's time to say I'm not perfect...
1. I did not say an extra prayer for my friend Melissa who is having a c-section for her baby boy today... and I did not say an extra special prayer for her son who may have heart complications.
2. I did not kick myself for posting that Colby's sleep schedule is getting better only to have it get messed up again... nope I would have learned already that every time I think it is getting better it gets worse
3. I did not finally give in and break into the Halloween candy.
4. I did not bake a batch of snickerdoodles only to have them eaten in one hour (recipe posted on Sat.)
5. I did not think my kiddos looked way too cute dressed up for the wedding on Saturday
6. I was not shocked last Monday when I had over 300 hits on my blog.... most from the Not Me Monday people... wow!
7. I'm not sending a ton of prayers to MckMomma that she relaxes and enjoys the last few days before she finally gets to meet McMuffin!
So what have you "not" done? Post your Not Me's on your blog and head over to MckMomma's site my charming kids and join up in the fun!
I went to Melissa's blog too and left a comment of prayer. I hope all turns out just fine!
ReplyDeleteOh and yes, we have SO broke into the Halloween candy already!!!!
I did not break into the Halloween candy either, nope, not me, wouldn't do that.....
ReplyDeleteI didn't break into the Halloween candy two weeks ago either....wait is it still Halloween candy if it's three weeks before Halloween??
ReplyDeleteI love getting new hits on my blog and finding others! I am a teacher as well, so I had to check yours out!
ReplyDeleteI would never break into the candy...that would mean another trip to target which means spending atleast 60.00. THat would be bad. LOl
ReplyDeleteI broke into our Halloween candy because my girls have 2 Halloween events before Trick or Treating, so I figured if I run out of my stash, I can use the stuff they got. Is that like re-gifting?
ReplyDeleteYour boys are soooooo cute.
Those boys looked way too cute. I love little boys dressed up...
ReplyDeleteAwww...your boys do look so cute dressed up! And I love that family shot of you all together. :)

ReplyDeleteHi Lori! Thanks for checking out my blog. I am a teacher turned mommy as well but I just became a Stay at Home mom last year when my 3rd child was born. I am enjoying it and it is a lot harder keeping up with 3 little ones than it was 18 1st graders! I have been to your blog a few times and have enjoyed it. Thanks again...hope you don't have to go out and buy more Halloween candy like I probably will :)
ReplyDeleteOkay so I did a double take on the first and second picture...Colby is so grown up looking I thought it was Blake! Do they ever look alike in these pictures, and so very handsome.
ReplyDeleteLove that you dressed them alike too, I like to do that with my boys too ;-)
You all look amazing!!!
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed these sweet pics of your precious boys. I think they look so very much a like. I always enjoy your Not Me Mondays posts!
