Weekend update!

wow what a busy weekend we had... which is odd for us!

Saturday Richard working in the morning and the boys and I had our typical day for the most part. We left around 5pm to go out to Longhorn for dinner (I had Parmesan Crusted Chicken... it was delicious!) and then went to see Frank Caliendo and Bill Engvall... I seriously don't remember the last time I laughed so hard. We had a great time hanging out with our friends and just people watching... now that is a lot of laughs all in and of itself.

On Sunday, Richard had set up a scavenger type activity for me. I had 15 slips of paper with directions of things to do during the day. It started with get dressed to go out and ended with go to bed. I went shopping for clothes, bought a new food processor, looked at tvs for our bedroom, and got a carmel apple at Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory (apple pie apple... YUMMY). When I knew I was going to the mall I went to, I grabbed gift cards to Dress Barn and the paperwork to have my ring cleaned and hit up those stores too. I also decided to stop in and get my hair cut. It now sits just above my shoulder... a big difference from a year ago when it was half way down my back and all one length.

So I got to get out of the house by myself, go clothes shopping and get my hair cut... how great is that?

Let me tell you something though... the Target store by me is in the process of renovating. They made new dressing rooms that have 2 mirrors... one on either side of the room... yeah who wants to look at themselves in full lenght from the front and the back at the same time WHILE you are dressing?? NOT ME!

Hope you all had a great weekend too
