Well... here we are at yet another holiday. This year seems to be flying by fast. Today is the day we celebrate those special men in our lives. The men who are our fathers, grandfathers, and especially the fathers of our children. It means cookouts, sports and chillin' out on the couch.
Richard and I do not exchange gifts on mother's and father's days, just makes life easier. But we try to spend the day doing things that are special to that person. So this morning I got up with the boys and let Richard sleep in. Then I made sticky buns for breakfast (ok they are the kind that came out of a can, but aren't they yummy still?) Originally he was going to go for a bike ride on his own, but then decided that was not what he wanted to do. So instead we packed the boys in the bike trailer, attached to Richard's bike, and I put on my roller blades and we went around the block. Then we took the boys to the park. We don't get there very often in the summer because it is just way toooooooooo hot! When we got home we put the boys in their swim diapers and went into the pool.
Hope you are enjoying a day doing all things important to DAD!
