The boys and I made sugar cookies today. It was very interesting to try to make cut cookies with a 3 year old and an 18 month old! Colby spilled the sprinkle container on the floor. Blake spilled two different sugar containers on just one cookie... yes that meant at least it was all on the cookie sheet, but I then had to transfer the cookies to salvage the rest of the sugar.

The funny thing is they won't even try the cookies... why do I bake if they won't even try the cookies, never mind like them??

Today's book was: Bear Stays Up for Christmas, by Karma Wilson. This is another book in a series of books. Bears friends wake him up so he can enjoy Christmas. Bear struggles to stay awake all day and night, but finds a second wind just about the time the other animals fall asleep. Bear decides to get things ready for Christmas morning and is so busy he doesn't even notice that Santa stopped by.
