school

Today was Blake's first day at his new school.  We enrolled him in a 2 day 1/2 day 3 year old class at one of our local child care centers.  We decided a few weeks ago that he NEEDED more interaction with children.  After doing some searching I found a place that seemed to fill the bill.  He was so excited to go to school.

So now he has speech at home on Monday, school on Tuesday and Thursday and goes to our local elementary school Wednesday and Friday for speech.

I know that this increased exposure to children will not only fill his need for playmates, but may also help his speech because he will be interacting with his peers.

The other benefit of this is Colby gets time alone with me, which he has never had.  And for me... I get 2 days when I get Colby's nap time all to myself.  I didn't really know what to do with myself today since Colby went down for his nap early and slept right up until the time I had to leave to pick up Blake (I actually had to bring his lunch for the drive).

I hope this continues to go smoothly for all of us!
