Zingo

I'm really surprised that I hadn't posted about this game earlier. We have had Zingo for over a year now, maybe close to two. We originally got it after Blake played it with his speech therapist one day. The concept of Zingo is playing Bingo with picture and word instead of numbers. There is a slider that contains the picture tiles. When you slide the slider, two tiles come out. If you have that on your board, you take the tile and put it on your card. The first person to fill the card wins.

Both of my boys love to play Zingo. It was actually one of the first games that Colby learned to play. It is a great vocabulary building game. Also learning to play bingo in this format is a great opening to playing sooo many different versions of Bingo that are out there.

  1. We just LOVE Zingo. We got it for a b-day gift a few years back and have given it for gifts ourselves. It's so easy for the kids to play on their own too!
    Have a happy LOVE day

  4. So glad to hear your family loves our Zingo! game, and thrilled to hear it was introduced to you by a speech therapist as an effective and fun way to build your son's skills! Curious whether you've ever seen our What's GNU game, a great follow-up to Zingo that explores 3-letter word bulding? www.thinkfun.com/whatsgnu
