ramble, ramble ramble

No new recipe today. I am planning on baking this week so maybe I'll make a new recipe for next week? Yep I'm slacking.

Have you taken any "c" pictures this week? I have a few and the boys have already taken theirs. I'll have it up and ready tomorrow morning if you want to play along.

Life is starting to get busy again. Tuesday nights we have basketball practice, this should be fun(ny). They have games on Saturday from now until March 17th and then we slide right into soccer season.

This weekend we are going to Monster Jam. We still haven't told the boys yet. And what's even better is we have Pit Passes this year. So they will be able to walk right up to the Monster Trucks. I can't wait to see how excited they are to see the trucks up close and personal.

Blake got in trouble at school for not listening. As a teacher turned mommy, this is like nails on a chalkboard to me. I know my boys are never going to be "perfect students" it's just not their nature. They love to have fun and goof off too much. I'm not trying to change that, but I don't want them to seem disrespectful either. I know I'll probably never go to a parent teacher conference and have the teacher tell me that my sons are ideal students and they want more of him. But, I want them to be good students. I expect them to listen and behave. I predict that they won't be the "ugh I've heard about that child" kid. Or the "I don't know how to get him to behave" or any of those things. I just hope for top of the middle as far as behavior. I have to remember that he is 5 and he will get in trouble from time to time. But, that doesn't make it easier.

Colby and I are back into our routine this week. I'm hoping that with the exercise I can feel more myself and less exhausted. This is prime allergy time here in Orlando and my sinuses are informing me of such. Blake is struggling with it too.

Well I should get the boys ready for school and the day. Going to be a long day and a late night. Hope you have a fantastic day. Get out there and take your "C" pictures today.

  1. Oh my, I know what you mean about your son getting in trouble in school. Mine was pushing others in line and the teacher just casually mentioned it, I about lost it when we got to the car. But then once I got a grip, I remembered he's just a boy, just a boy.

Hope your allergies don't get to bad and enjoy your Pit Passes. I'm sure it'll be a blast.
