I think it is funny how children can get totally obsessed (ok obsessed is a strong word, but you know what I mean) with one thing. My parents got Blake a bubble mower for Easter... you'd think it was gold!
For a long time it was his yellow wagon (we have TONS of pics of him playing with that) now it's his mower. He plays with it inside and outside. He wants anyone and everyone to have a turn with it. He has trouble getting the bubbles to go, but I'll tell you he doesn't care. He just likes to push it and hear it go. Orrr turn it over and play with the wheels. Orrr tip it up and try to chew on the bottom of the "key".
Hours of fun from one toy... who could ask for more??
hmmm maybe this will be my scrapbook page for Sunday... guess I should get working on that!
Very cute. My son was like that with his busy ball popper - obsessed!
ReplyDeleteI want one!
ReplyDeleteadorable. I am trying to remember if I was obsessed with anything when I was younger. I'll have to ask my mom.
ReplyDeleteBe glad he plays with toys. My daughter is not a toy player. I can't really explain what she all day it is not playing with toys. My family has spend millions of dollars on toys and they get touched once.
ReplyDeleteHe's so cute!
ReplyDeleteWill you be such a diligent scrap-booker when baby #2 comes. Very impressive.
Those things are AWESOME! My kids would be obsessed if they had one too!
ReplyDeleteI was just looking at getting that same toy for Riley for his birthday...I know one is a bit young, but I figured it would be something he would play with for a long time....now I HAVE to get this toy for him!
ReplyDeleteHow cute! My son has been and still is (!) totally hooked on playing with all my pots and pans...I wonder if he'll ever switch to a new toy to love?! Oh well...pots and pan are good too. :)
ReplyDeletewe got one for easter too! i was going to ask if you had trouble getting the bubbles out and you answered that!
ReplyDeletethanks for the comment on my blog..ill get a girls day next weekend! oh and do you have my email still? i have a question to ask you! if not i leave it here...
AHHHHH yes consentrating on one toy. Sonia did that for a while also. She loved ELMO and she still does but she will now play with other dolls.
ReplyDeleteStarting him early, huh? I bet Richard will appreciate this toy once Blake becomes a teenager!
ReplyDeleteHow cute! Too bad it won't actually mow the lawn.
ReplyDeleteMicah still pushes one of those grocery carts around. He's had it for 3 years.
Seems like something my son would love too.
ReplyDeleteHe loves to push things and bubbles
