quick update (yes I know it's the middle of the night)

Richard's surgery went well. It was a very longggg day yesterday. We had to be at the hospital at 12:30 and the surgery was scheduled for 3:30. He didn't get taken back to the ER until 5pm and I didn't see him again until almost 7pm.

He now has a plate and like 6 or 7 screws holding his collarbone together. He is resting somewhat comfortably with a bit of chemical help! We are doing ice treatments 30 min on 30 min off while he is awake and those seem to be helping too.

Thank you all for your kind words and prayers. I'll try to get on later today and put on a real Teacher Turned Mommy post if there is an opportunity, but during one of Blake's nap I'll have to try to sleep myself since I'm up at 1:30am!
