As a teacher, I always found it odd when you had that random child in your class who doesn't really like sweets. Occasionally you will have one that doesn't like a particular flavor (chocolate, strawberry, etc...), but usually they like something.
Today we went the to grocery store. I usually don't stop and get Blake a cookie, but today I was getting other things in the bakery so I said... sure why not! So I get him a sugar cookie. He seems all excited and takes it and begins to nibble on it.
Yeah that lasted until we go to the deli. Once they gave us the first piece of ham to try he was so done with the cookie. I left it on the cart for him (don't you love the cart covers? I especially love the part that covers the handle because it makes a great place to put the snacks for him) to have later. Well a bit later I was breaking up some more meat for him (he ate 1 slice of ham, 1 slice of turkey and 1 slice of roast beef, part of a slice of provolone and a tiny bit of pepper jack) and he took the cookie and shoved it into the deli wrapper that the meat was in. That was it... I'm done with this cookie give me my deli!
