I kid Richard all the time about being a computer geek. Well it does come in handy quite often. The other day was one of those times. I thought I had uploaded the pictures off my camera onto the laptop. Usually I do not delete the pictures off the camera until I have edited them on the computer. Not this day, I unplugged the camera and then deleted the pictures. I then went back to the laptop to edit the pictures... and they were not there. Richard had re-installed my Kodak Easy Share in order to get the videos to work on my laptop (ok yet again having a computer geek helped). I didn't notice that the computer was waiting for the command to download the pictures.
So, I freaked out... a whole weekend's worth of pictures gone. Great pictures and videos too... gone! Nope! My computer geek hubby fixed it all. He recovered the pictures and most of the videos off the memory chip.
I was so happy. I love my computer geek!!
Gotta love hubbies!
ReplyDeleteWhew! What a relief! :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a lifesaver he is. I would have freaked out too. We have a friend that is pretty good at that, but he takes forever. Nice to have someone at home...
ReplyDeleteYay, don't you just love geeky husbands!
ReplyDeleteI do the same thing with my pictures, so I would have been in the same boat. Glad you had a hero to save the day.
ReplyDeleteIf only he could have recovered 6 months worth of pictures off of my external hard drive!
ReplyDeleteyeah for your hubby!
ReplyDeletei wish Brian was a comouter geek... he's my Handy geek.. heehee
ReplyDeleteMy computer geek is pretty awesome, too!
ReplyDeleteI'm Ok at running the computer as long as things are going smoothly. But, if they're not working. Forget it. Fixing them is not my thing! Glad you didn't lose the pictures. That would be awful.
ReplyDeleteThere are definitely some advantages to that type! :)
