Cookin' Cookies

I'm always searching for fun quick easy games to play with my boys. We play at least one game every night before bedtime. I think it is a fun easy way to connect and have fun together as well as a great learning experience. I have posted many of the games on Mondays, and hope you have enjoyed seeing some of the fun game's we've collected.

A few week's ago when I was linking you to some other game this week's game popped up in Amazon's suggestion list. Well when you see the name of the game you will know why I couldn't pass it up. This week's game is Cookin' Cookies. Yes, this is right up my boys alley!

Each player has a spoon with a suction cup on it. You take a recipe card that tells you what ingredients you need to bake your cookie. Then after saying "Ready, Set, Bake" you slap the ingredient cookies to see if you can find all the ingredients on your recipe card. But, watch out for the rotten egg, you have to put everything you have back then cause that batch is ruined!

One thing I really like about this game is the fact that the boys can play it by themselves (which they were doing when I took the picture above). It is pretty simple and straight forward. They love the fact that you get to whack the ingredient cookies with the spoon to pick them up. The age is 4+, but Colby had no trouble picking up how to play it.

  1. My boys love games too! I would rather have this game than the LOUD banging of Whack a Mole :) This wouldn't be too hard to make yourself. I will have to try this later :)

  2. That game sounds so fun! I can totally see kids loving the suction cup spoon. I can't wait to start doing stuff like that with Avery!

  3. This was one of Lillian's favorites to play while at speech therapy! It's on my list of "games to get" :)
