I love my husband

I don't often post about Richard, but he is certainly on my mind today. Today is his first day at a new company. He decided back in the early fall that the company he was working for wasn't pushing hard enough in the direction of his program so he began a search for a new company. He found a company that is breaking into the area that Richard likes to work in. In the process many other employees over and under Richard have moved over to the new company too.

Enough about that, Richard's job is just a small part of him. He is a loving and devoted father. Richard goes out of his way to make sure he spends a bit of time with the boys each day especially on the weekends. He is part of their daily lives. It is hard when he has to work late, but tries to be home to play games and read stories each night. On the weekends he likes to ride bikes, play basketball, dig in the sandbox, or just hang out on the couch with them. He likes to show them how to do the things he loves, building in with legos or wood, working on the car, fixing the bikes and of course computer stuff.

I love to watch the three of my guys interact, nothing makes me smile more. I also love the fact that when he is home he tries very hard to help me get done the little and big things I do each day. He helps in the kitchen, does chores around the house and takes care of the dogs. Every night he walks the dogs before bed and spends time playing with Dixie and scratching Abby.

I'm not sure he realizes how much I notice or that I even notice that he does all these things, but I do. I'm grateful each day that I met him and that we both realized we are made for each other.
