First off... I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend... I know ours was BUSSYYYY!!
Second, thank you all for your kind words and support during the last few weeks... I know I wasn't exactly my typical "bloggy" self while I was dealing with Richard's injury.
Ok... onto the updates....
Richard is doing well... we had a doctor's appointment last week and found out that he now has a plate and 7 screws holding his collarbone together. He is doing well and is progressing better than expected. He can use his arm as long as the movements are below the shoulder and he isn't trying to pick up anything. Which is good since he works with computers for his job so at least he can type with both hands again. He is again driving too which means I don't have to drive him to and from work everyday. He begins physical therapy on April 2nd and we go back in mid-April for more x-rays and to see how he is progressing.
Blake is doing good too... yes he is stillll cutting teeth. 3 out of 4 eye teeth are almost totally full size now. 1 out of 4 molars is totally in and the other 3 well.. they each have 2-3 points through already. I will be sooo happy when he is done with this phase so the drool monster is done and so are the super poop diapers! This weekend just proved how much he depends on his routine... we were off it both days and yeah well... we've paid for it!
Me.... well the baby is doing well... at my last appointment I was still measuring on track and the heartbeat sounds good. I get to go have my fun glucose test soon (note to self... go on lab's site and schedule appointment soon). I go back in a month and then start going every 2 weeks. I only have about 10 weeks left in 6 weeks I will be scheduling my c-section date... how exciting is that. Ok the answer to the 2 questions I always get... It's a boy... no he doesn't have a name yet. Right now it will probably be either Dean, Shane or Kolby. We can't decide and probably won't until he is born.
Ok... I think that brings everyone up to date... I'll make a few scrapbook pages this week with more of the Easter pictures and post them on Sunday!
I''m glad to hear everyone is doing so well. That is good news that Richard is healing well and able to do a few more things again. Sorry to hear about Blake's teething! I feel your pain. Our own little drool monster and teething grump is sure giving us a run for our money. Hope you are all able to get some rest from your busy weekend!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the update...it's good to hear your hubby is doing well! Hopefully he'll be all healed up by the time your 2nd one arrives! And it's kind of cool...we're pretty much in the exact same spot in our pregnancies...and I just had that glucose test too...fun fun fun. :) Did you have a C-section with Blake as well? And I like the names you picked...hmmm...I think my favorite is Kolby - but it's not up to me, is it? ;) have a great day!
ReplyDeleteI am so glad to hear Richard is progressing well. That is pretty crazy about the plate and screws. Blak is so cute. I wonder why teehing causes super poopy diaper. Is it the drool? I am just starting that whole process with Eliza....I guess I have a long ways to go. I love all three of the boy names. The hubs and I had the hardest time with boy names. If I had a boy he was going to be Logan. BTW I actually liked the stuff I drank for the glucose test. I am a weirdo! Thanks for the update!

ReplyDeleteOUCH! I'm thinking about the screws in the neck...ew! But I'm glad he's doing a lot better!
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear everyone is doing better.
ReplyDeleteSounds like life was quite crazy. It is nice that it is calming down.
ReplyDeleteOh the excitment of pregnancy.
It goes so fast.
Hope all the poop calms down
Really glad Richard is recovering so well. It was quite a harrowing experience so you had every right to be worried:-)
ReplyDeleteI hope Blake gets those teeth out, it's just no fun for anyone.
yippee! Two boys are twice the fun!
