Happy 3rd Birthday Colby!
Hard to believe, but it is true... Colby is no longer two. Today is Colby's third birthday. I now officially have 2 preschoolers. I hope you enjoy a look back at this past year

Fun at the Splash Park
It has gone from really nice to way too hot very fast here in Orlando. We are having daily highs in the high 80s already. It feels more like May than March. We are so due for a bit of rain, just let's not having it on the weekends since for the next 3, no 4 weekends we have outdoor plans... lol!
I decided to take the boys to a splash park. They had a blast as you can see...

changes
The other day I uploading pictures into Photobucket and Colby asked to watch some of the movies I have on there. I came across these two videos of Blake and couldn't believe just how far he has come. I wanted to get a new video of him before posting.
The first video he had just mastered many of the signs he learned in order to help him communicate. He was working on a few beginning sounds too. The second was taken last February when he was speaking a lot better, but was still struggling with a lot of articulation issues. The last video was taken yesterday. I handed him a book he had never read before, although he is very familiar with the characters.

bike fun

Blake is getting pretty good at riding his bike so we decided to take him out where there was a bit more space. So we packed up the boys bikes and headed up to the high school parking lot. It started raining while we were there so we didn't get a whole lot of practice, but he had a blast.
Colby likes to try to ride, but still hasn't figured out the whole pedaling thing yet, so you just have to ummm push him along. He will get it soon, I'm pretty certain of that. If he wants to do it, he will figure it out. (plus we have two bikes and Colby

****************************************************************************
Today's goals:
--get up at 5am and do p90x (might just do ab ripper x this time) [ok so it was closer to 5:30, but I did do ab ripper x and it killed me... guess I need to get back to doing abs!]
--bring Blake to school and pick him up [check. got him there in time for breakfast and picked him up a bit early, but he had a blast]
--go to the Y for pilates (testing out this class for the first time) and then Parent-child fitness with Colby [check... I really liked the pilates class and will certainly hit that up again. Colby didn't want to stay for the whole of his class, but I had taken him to the playground after dropping off Blake so I think he was tired and ready for his nap]
--make bacon to have breakfast for dinner with the boys (pancakes and bacon for them, omelet with bacon and cheese for me) [check... I added tomatoes to my omelet and have enough bacon for a BLT tomorrow, and more after that, but it is my craving]
[I also mopped the floor twice (I dropped a can of coke that EXPLODED), washed the sheets and re-made the beds, ran to Hallmark and Bath and Body Works, fixed my parent's computer over the phone and all the other fun mother stuff]
Tommorow's goals:
--get up at 5am and do p90x
--storytime at the libary
--clean the bathrooms
--have a fun day with the boys

Friday Video
Yesterday I told you that Blake loves to retell the stories that he hears. I decided to video him doing that. Now these are actually not his best versions of the stories since it was forced (we all know how that is). You will get the gist of his telling. And... you get to hear how well he is talking now (remember he has only been talking since September 2009)

Go, go, go
I mentioned on I Smiled Today the other day about Colby saying Go, go go whenever he runs. I got it on video for you to see.
