2011 Review Extravaganza (part 2)

It's Friday so it must be time for the second installment of the 2011 Review Extravaganza!

Grumpy Grateful Mommy

April started off with a trip to A Day out with Thomas. Both my boys love trains. We took them in 2010, but then Colby got big into Thomas so we went in 2011 too. At this rate you might see us there in 2012 also (o:

I discovered the joy of making hummus. Which I'm totally addicted to still!

We also painted the house. That was a long week, but so worth it!

May was a busy month. I only seemed to manage to post project 365 pictures and Tasty Tuesday recipes. But that month had a few yummy ones like sticky chicken.

One decent post was called How dare you ask me? It was about in interaction at a splash pad with another person who questioned why I was a stay at home mom.

June is Colby's birthday!Photobucket

I read and raved about the book Room. If you haven't read it... I suggest you do!

I finished up by talking about our summer schedule and trying to keep life sane.

Just to finish it off.... one picture. Blake played t-ball for the first time this summer. He liked it, but it was parent torture!

  1. Wow, sounds like you had a busy few months! I'm not sure I could be a stay-at-home mom, you have more courage than I do :)

  3. Oh my goodness, I just finished reading the post about being a SAHM. Honestly, I don't know how you held back from going into a screaming rant...because I certainly would have. What in the world was wrong with that woman? Yeesh!

  4. We ALMOST went to A Day Out With Thomas, but we ended up skipping. Though you pictures look so fun! I'm think we may have to invest this year.

And I just read your SAHM post--I am truly amazed at some people! I'm not sure I would have handled that so well!

  5. Great pictures! Sounds like you had a busy week.

My boys LOVED to see Thomas. We missed this year because they got a baby sister, but we hope to go again next year!

  6. I think t-ball is the cutest little boy sport. I hope Brennan wants to do it. Did you think the Thomas train thing was worth the $$$? I had a friend tell me yesterday it was a fail! Both of my kids love Thomas.

  8. Oh I have three links opened up ready to read! Can't wait to see your house repainting. We saw Thomas two years in a row also when my oldest was little- he loved it.

Thanks so much for linking up again, I have your point recorded.
